GReat Utah Bicycle Festival

GRUB Fest

Imagine an entire 3 day weekend of every type of cycling you can imagine! GRUB Fest is a celebration of the bike and the cyclist. Whatever your preference in riding you will find it at GRUB Fest: with 300+ miles of road and 100+ miles of double and single track dirt to enjoy. A smorgasbord of venues to choose from: Recreational Riding – road and off road; Racing – road and mountain bike; Bike safety classes; Supported and non-supported rides; Century rides, Cross County, Criterium, Street racing, a Bike parade, Cyclocross, Time Trial, Short Track, and Kids rides. Our goal is to have more bikes on the roads than cars and more bikes in the hills than jackrabbits. Stay at our Tent or RV city or a local motel, feast on local and regional cuisine at the food court and listen to live music as you enjoy this celebration.

The epicenter of cycling over Labor Day weekend will hence forth be Beaver County and Minersville Utah. It is GRUB Fest’s goal to have cyclists outnumber the residents and to have more bikes than cars and trucks on the roads. Rural Beaver County and historic Minersville are in southwestern Utah, equidistant from the Salt Lake City and Las Vegas International airports, just off Interstate 15. Beaver County is in the forefront of clean renewable energy development with 3 geothermal power generation plants and a wind farm under development which dovetails with GRUB Fest’s attempt to make the area a cycling friendly region, at least for the festival.

The GRUB Fest helps to raise funds and awareness for the Salt Lake Veteran’s Hospital Psychiatric Department.  A minimum of $10 will be donated from each GRUB Fest registration.
