Join us and take the CHALLENGE!  This exciting ride is unlike any other you have riden.  First of all this is a team event!  So grab your friend, partner, son, or daughter and prepare together.  Second there is no set course!  You will pick your own route between the various stops you will need to make.  There will be some roads you will not be allowed to use.  Third you will learn of some stops you will need to make along the course.  And Fourth at each stop you and your partner will need to conquer a unique fun and whacky challenge.

This ride can best be described as a scavenger hunt on weels; but instead of collecting things you will meet fun challenges.

Help Support Bike Education and Youth Cycling -  B2B4 Kids is a non-profit organization that works with our schools and youth to offer bike education.  In addition B2B4 Kids supports several youth cycling clubs to encourage an active and fun cycling lifestyle as well as educational and cultural exchange opportunities through cycling.

The Details

Teams - This is a team event.  Teams consist of two (2) riders.  You may register as a Male, Female,  Mixed, Youth, or Family team.  Adult is 18 or older, Youth is <18, and Family is one Adult at least 21 and one youth.

Distance - There will be 2 different distances to choose from.  You may choose a course that will cover between 12 and 18 miles, or between 35 and 50 miles.  Distances can not be precise, they will be dependent on your planning and the routes you choose between the various stops.  Everyone will start and finish from the same point.

The "Course" - the course will not be announced until 6:00 am, May 3rd.  The only thing that will be known before this date is the start/finish line location.  This is part of the challenge; getting from one point to the next in the shortest amount of time, or getting to a point with the fewest number of people in front of you conquering your next challenge.  There will be certain roads or streets that you will not be allowed to use, anyone riding on these roads will be subject to penalty or disqualifacation.

Secret Stops - There will be between 1 and 3 stops where you will be given a clue to another secret unannounced stop where you must go to meet another challenge.  If you do not hand in your clue at the secret stop you will receive a time penalty - this will eliminate you following other riders to the secret stop.

The Challenge - At each stop you and your partner will be required to conquer a fun challenge.  Each challenge will be unique and require you to demonstrate your ability to have fun and be silly.  Challenges will test your bike riding skills, marksmanship, balance, dexterity, and ingenuity.  A few of the Challenges you will be required to conquer are:

Jousting - Each team will be provided with a bike that has pegs on the rear axle.  One rider will pedal their steed while the other mounts the pegs, shoulders their lance and proceeds to topple or spear their opponents.

Walking the Plank - Each team member must walk the length of the beam.  Oh!   Fall off and you will either have to start over or receive a 10 minute penalty.

Ball Carry - Each team will be given a 2' x 2' board and a ball 4-6" in diameter.  You must carry the ball, balanced on the board, the length of the designated course.  Drop or touch the ball and you will have to restart or receive a 15 minute penalty.  Oh!  Did we mention that you and your partner will be tied together?

OK Corral Shoot Out -  One teammate will be given a weapon and they will need to empty it at their partner.  Ok the weapon is a water pistol and their partner will have a 2 liter bottle and a funnel to capture the "bullets".  Each team will need to fill the bottle with a certain amount of "lead".

Other Challenges will be fun, unique, and challenging!
